Al Caucci Flyfishing News Update
and Sight Fishing for Trophy Bonefish

As you may know, my son Blair and partner Jerry Wolland and I sold the Delaware River Club in April to the avid conservationist and outdoorsman Larry Clark from New York City.

Mr. Clark and his friend and operating manager, Ben Turpin, have also purchased my flyfishing schools and guide operation on the Delaware.  I will continue to support Larry and Ben from my home on the West Branch which is right next to the resort.  Mr. Clark plans to carry on the traditions which I have built over the past 25 years on the upper Delaware and further expand the business with an impressive new lodge and a hunting preserve for upland birds as well.  We still own the Delaware River Preserve Campground with it's wonderful water-front property and private river access.

Although I've retired from the resort and Delaware River guide business, I have kept my travel and hosted trip business which I plan to expand.   Al Caucci Flyfishing is alive and well and better than ever for the best "sight fishing" opportunities in the world today!  Just call or e'mail Betti or I anytime at 570-635-5897 or cell 570-807-5123, email alcaucci@hancock.net for details.

In 2008 and 2009 I will expand my Montana trips to (3) including the Southwest Montana trip, the Clark Fork and Bitterroot trip in Missoula and the incomparable Missouri River trip in Craig, Montana.  I will continue my "incredible" Bonefish trips for big bones on Andros Island with (4) separate trips per year and look to expand to special places in the Caribbean.  If you plan to join me in November on Andros Island, now is the time to call me (570-635-5897 or cell 570-807-5123), so I can reserve my "top" independent guides now - they book up quickly.  I still have (4) spots open on each of my November programs - that's November 9-14 and November 16-21.  See directly below for details.

Also, for those who can't make my "hosted" trip dates, I will be arranging customized trips for individuals, small groups and families at their convenience.  These will be very similar to my "hosted" trips using the same "top guides and lodges" that I use at my world class venues in Andros, Montana, and other "sight fishing" destinations around the world.  My expansion plans will include periodic trips to Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, Alaska and Alberta in the Canadian Rockies.  More on all of this in my upcoming newsletters over the next few months.

AL CAUCCI BONEFISH TRIPS at the ANDROS ISLAND BONEFISH CLUB - (RIGHT on the BIGHTS)

Week 1- November 9-14   Week 2 - November 16-21

I am now taking deposits for my November trips - that's arrive on Sunday, fish Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and depart on Friday  Participants that Al Caucci Bonefishneed more flexibility in their schedule can start and end their trip any day that suits them between November 5 and November 23.  The program is priced and based on arriving Day 1, guided fishing on days 2, 3, 4, 5 and departing on Day 6.

Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or experienced bone fisher, this trip is for you.  Andros is by far the best bonefish destination in the world where you can catch large numbers of bones as well as large bones, 5-10 lbs. on a regular basis.  Plus, you have a chance to hook a world record bonefish every time you venture out on the flats.  Every November and March my clients land several in the 10-13 lb. class.  This is not normal with other bonefish destinations.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NOVEMBER AT THE AIBC IS SELLING OUT FAST AND RESERVATIONS FOR ROOMS AND OUR TOP PRIVATE GUIDES MUST ALSO BE MADE NOW, SO IF YOU INTEND TO JOIN ME IN ANDROS PLEASE CALL US NOW FOR RESERVATIONS!!

Cost for the program is $2995 based on 2 persons per room and 2 anglers per guide.  A $1400 deposit per fisherman is required with your registration.  Balance is due by September 10, 2008.   We strongly urge trip insurance.  Trip includes: Taxi to and from Andros Town Airport; 5 nights and 6 days in spacious creek and ocean view cabins with air conditioning, modern baths, refrigerators and ceiling fans, 2 Al Caucci Bonefishdelicious American and Bahamian meals per day in the dining room, plus a boxed lunch of your choice of food and drinks, 4 full days of guided fishing from fast modern bonefish skiffs with the best private, independent bonefish guides in the Bahamas; an optional half day is offered on departure day.  Extra days are also available but must be booked in advancer, includes bottled water and pop or juice on boats, room taxes and free laundry service.  Everything is included except gratuities, bar tab and airfare.  Call for prices for extra days.
